As a Personal Trainer, I believe that living an active lifestyle with balanced nutrition is the key to a happy and fulfilling life.I offer a fun and effective workout personalized towards each individual's goals. Being a gymnast for over 15 years has helped me develop great flexibility, posture and overall strength and balance. These are all great areas to address when developing work out programs for my clients and explaining the importance of these areas.
I come from a very athletic background, from volleyball, field hockey and track and field in school, to 10 years of baseball and a very long and competitive gymnastics career. I trained as a competitive gymnast for over 15 years which came to an end when I was diagnosed with Spina Bifida at the age of 18. I overcame the physically challenges of spina bifida through many years of Physiotherapy and daily exercise. I then became a Certified Gymnastics Coach, and continued to train as a gymnast recreationally and coach in my spare time for the next 9 years.
I began my career in the Health and Fitness industry over 5 years ago, where I was a Manager and Personal Trainer for a Women's Health and Nutrition Centre. I worked with a variety of different clients; weight loss clients, diabetics, clients with back issues, arthritis and fibromyalgia, specializing in Nutrition, Exercise, Supplements, Core Training and Weight Loss. I have since continued my career as a Certified Personal Trainer, as I have a very strong passion in health and fitness, and I truly feel that helping others achieve their health and fitness goals is the best reward at the end of the day. I look forward to helping you achieve a healthy mind and body! I promise to offer you nothing less than and exciting, energetic and results orientated training session, each and every time!
