Aerobics

Columbia Lake Health Club offers a variety of fitness classes. We change our programs and scheduling regularly to meet the needs of our members. Online registration lets you sign up for a class to ensure your spot. Half of all spots can be booked days in advance - half are available on a drop in basis.

Our instructors are great at teaching these classes for all our members, from novice to expert. You’ll get the right instruction for the level of activity that is right for you.

 

Join our Healthy You Program

We help you develop a healthy heart, healthy bones, healthy movement and make healthy choices with group fitness classes and a cardio program using our Personal e-trainer. Start your fitness program off right with classes designed for those who are new to fitness.

Healthy Moves - a full beginner workout that includes cardio, strength and stretching.
Intro to Cycle - build your cardio endurance with this fun class that will get you hooked - we'll get you set up properly on the bike and teach you all the tricks.
Intro to Pilates - this is a gentle starting point for older adults and those new to fitness.
Intro to Yoga - we emphasize flexibility and breathing - important for all ages.
Intro to Zumba - our introductory aerobic dance class is just plain fun that gets your heart pumping.

 

Other feature classes

Boot Camp - Kick start your metabolism and burn loads of fat! This multi-level class is for the participant who wants to challenge themselves at their own level! Your instructor will take you through a full body circuit, while alternating 2 minutes of cardio and 2 minutes of strength training.

Cardio Kickboxing - This class teaches the foundations of Boxing. Skip, jab, and upper cut your way to a leaner, stronger you!

Core Condition - Discover how core strength can enhance your lifestyle. By developing the muscles around your hips, lower back, torso, abs, and shoulder blades we can help reduce lower back pain, improve posture, and develop a leaner physique.

Strength – Improve your posture. Boost your metabolism. Tighten and tone. Burn more fat. Flatten your mid-section. And most of all, greatly improve your STRENGTH. This total body workout has co-ed appeal. We use body bars, dumbbells, stability balls, bosu and what ever else we can get our hands on!
