I believe that in order to make fitness and exercise a priority in your life it needs to be challenging and fun! It is never too late to begin incorporating exercise into your life and I'm excited to help my clients accomplish this as they strive towards their personal health and fitness goals.
Living an active lifestyle has always been one of my main priorities in life. Throughout my life I've had the opportunity to play a variety of different sports at various levels including; hockey, baseball, football, rugby, golf, tennis and basketball. My passion for sports and fitness drove me to play competitive sports throughout high school and into university as a member of the University of Waterloo Men's Rugby team. While completing my Kinesiology degree I have had the privilege to work with the Gray Institute which has started me on a journey to understanding how the human body functions. The Gray Institute is 'internationally acclaimed for its innovation, development, mastery, and delivery of Applied Functional Science. They consult, analyze, assess, rehabilitate, restore, train, and condition individuals of all levels and abilities, including professional sports.' The Institute has exposed me to a plethora of strategies that I am confident will help enhance how we function as human beings.
With my experience I find the functional approach most effective in my training. This approach focuses on full body movements that are relevant to my clients based on their body type and overall fitness goals. Whether trying to rehabilitate or prevent an injury, or improving performance, I can help you get there with fantastic results!
